86 F150 compressor advice needed !!!

Hi guys I am looking to replace my compressor on my F150” 86” I have been looking online and all I can see is the 4 seasons brand and UAC has anyone tried them and if they are cold I live in a very hot country don’t know if these compressors are good enough or not

I have used 4 Seasons before with good results, not familiar with UAC.

4 Seasons are good compressors. I try to keep with Sanden compressors, a bit more money, but worth it in the end.

Am putting an entire 4 seasons system in the 86. I have a 4 seasons in my 79 Ranchero and is working well. the 4 seasons compressors are remanned Ford Compressors. So far so good. Price is good and the air is cold

may i ask what happened to the compressor? is the system open at all? Original hoses?

Hi the original compressor just got damaged and doesn’t work anymore but all the original hoses and everything is availible.

I don’t know if there is a similar ford model that has the same fitment of the compressor

Thanks for your recommendation appreciate it because the weather in my country is 50 degree Celsius I hope 4 seasons work well on it

Unfortunately not there is another one that I know about which i never saw in reality but through pintrest and was shocked due to the plate numbers say Bahrain

One issue I just found out with my engine is when I was searching for the compressor seems to be the engine is swapped to a newer 5.0 engine any chance I could know the model of the engine because the compressor looks completely diffrent

Does it have the serpentine belt system? Does the compressor look like this:

If so than it is an FS10, see if there is any kind of label, or post a picture. If you can't post, you can send me an email through the site.

Definitely appears to be an FS10, where is it mounted, looks like it is way low from the picture. Could the engine be from a car? Maybe a Mustang, Crown Victoria, Thunderbird?

I believe it’s a mustang but I don’t know which year and that’s another surprise I just knew today as I was just about to order an iac

At least the belt setup is a Mustang, intake is definitely the truck system.
