Finished my first job on my restore replaced the windshield wiper motor. Now need to order a new hood seal.

lmc sells them and they are decent. however depending on the degree of restoration you want ,many are doing well with garage door seal.

How does the garage door seal work? I haven't seen anything on that modification yet.

Works well.  As you can see from the pic below off the page listed above, the door seal presses against the underside of the hood nicely.  So if you have it well sealed to the cab there won't be any leaks.
