License plate light assembly [E4TZ-13412-A] - NOS

Recommended Posts

Thanks, Gary! The original listing has been edited.

I can't comment on the part number, but that's a Flareside licence plate lamp.

The part number of the lamp by itself without the harness is:

D7AZ 13550-A

80/88 F100/150(83)

87/A

Maybe it was superseded later on?

On the paper work it says B/T 81 and B/T 83.

Is the B/T "Body / Type"? I know the 83 indicates Flareside, doesn't it?

Good catch! Yes, that's the Flareside light so it is the wrong part number, which didn't get superseded:

And here's the illustration, showing that's what the light is:

These lamps are getting really hard to find. There's guys on the FB Flareside page asking about them on a semi-regular basis.

IIRC there are some cars that use that same type of light housing but in silver or black not clear like that one.

I would have to look at mine but think it is silver and think from a Ford Granada.
