It seems to have been carefully designed by a team of cruel psychologists with a noise and frequency that resonates the central nervous system and causes great discomfort. The door jam button spring is also surprisingly & needlessly strong and so you need a firm boot lodged in the door corner to silence it if you're working under the dash. I hear that the buzzer was replaced with a less mentally damaging chime in later years. Has anyone in this forum tried that replacement procedure and possibly have part numbers that I can use? That's the white one for headlights, right? If you don't want yours i'd gladly pay postage to get it to me . Mine stopped working at some point.
