wellz Posted October 2, 2021 Share Posted October 2, 2021 i have recently just begun the restoration process on my 1981 f250 that i had inheireted from my grandfather the truck was originally my uncles he passed before my time the truck sat in a junk yard since 2003 got it going 2 years ago. originally a bc hydro truck (a power and services company in canada) so was sold with a service box and arm had full skid plates a pto winch and a air compressor on board it had a 4 speed 351M or a 400 to begin with suffered the motor blowing during my uncles ownership had a 400 im putting a 6.9 idi diesel in it. ill ad pictures and info as i take em this is a active project Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I have an idea of your journey, I am in a restoration project too, but on my side the cab and motor stayed in place, even if we replaced all bushings. Congratulations!
