Best source for window channel felts and rubber?

Recommended Posts

Poncho Loco has put me to shame. When I found that his mystery PO had installed new felts and rubber, I was hit with a wave of "bad owner" shame that caused me to feel remorse, for at least 30 seconds.

But it is shameful that all our other Bullys and Brickys have worn out felts and rubber. In the case of our first Bully (sig below) the rubber is literally gone or in pieces.

I'm a little leery of fleabay, because my Bricky son already tried there and the rubber didn't fit. LMC is pricey. Who else can I trust?

Where did y'all get your replacement channel felts and rubber? Did they fit well and are you happy with the price? Thanks!

I got my Fairchild materials from Summit Racing. Door rubbers, window channels, and the extra door top rubbers for $136 delivered I think. It was cheapest full package I could find. The door top rubbers were extra and I haven't even put them in yet. Just fixing the main seals and removing the crumbling weatherstrip tape the PO had was a huge improvement.

Here's what wa there on day 1.

Yep!!’

Sharp truck!

I used Precision. Tossed the vent windows ones though as they made them too tough to open/close. The length of the window track weatherstripping wasn't spot on but is low enough to not cause issues. In the end, I'd try another brand on the next set.

Oh yeah, my set didn't include the vents. I forget that. Might be important to some folks though.
