Front springs

Recommended Posts

Morning everyone. Seems who ever cut the front springs cut one to much because the truck sits lower on one side. I don’t want to go any lower because the lower side will rub when I turn and hit a bump. I was thinking of getting another spring and cutting it. Any other suggestions?

Check to make sure the coil spring seats are on the correct sides. The one on the passenger side is a little thicker/taller than the driver's side. If somebody happen to mix them up left to right it would throw the left to right height off by a half an inch or more.

Why do you want to cut the springs, to lower it?

If so that is not the way to do it as it throws off the settings from factory.

You need to get factory springs and then go with lowering beams like DJM.

They move the spindle up but keeps the factory settings and travel.

I will have to check that spring! I hope it’s just that. I bought the truck lowered already. So I just thought it was lowered by cutting the spring
