I recently (October 2020) took ownership of a pretty roached Bullnose and found this forum while trying to troubleshoot some "quirks" caused by the last owner. Thanks to you guys I now have a working temp gauge, an alternator that actually charges my battery, and working door locks. Now I'll preface while on the outside she looks pretty bad, I paid less for this truck than the last brake job on my daily driver. And what I got was a running, "driving" (mostly seized rear drums), truck with a manual transmission and a frame more solid than some 5 year old trucks I have seen. You're certainly not alone in having a Bullnose that is rough around the edges...most of them are this way now 40 years later. From down here it seems that could be Albany, way up in Lake Placid, out west in Buffalo or anywhere in between... Deciphering things the previous owners done is always a challenge. There are a few of us (me, John.. ) that have no one else to blame! With that much lift it looks like you could use some taller jack stands. (Sorry, small phone, bad eyes) My little brother went to RPI, I have a good idea which 'upstate' you mean, now. ETA: NVM, I see suds, so I assume it's some kind of upholstery vacuum.
