Optimism! YES!

New harness and lights installed. Please see daylight pics.

The harness is only just long enough to reach. I got this from Broncograveyard.

The bulbs are phillips “racing 150%” whatever that means.

Now i need to align the lights, is there a method anyone here prefers?

I have a nice RV garage door as a target, once I adjust them (tomorrow night I hope) i will post the light pattern on the door/road.

In The meantime these pics are:

1. Lights off

2. Dipped

3. High beam

4. Relay mounting

Great!

I use this type of method to adjust my headlights.

Do you know the wattage of the bulbs?

They're probably called "racing" because they're non-compliant, and can't be promoted for street use.

Does look good! :nabble_smiley_good:

If the ground is completely flat and level I would drive straight at/up to the door and make a cross with masking tape at the hot center of each beam.

Then back straight up at least 50' and see where they pattern on both high and low.

I do believe Gary has links to Daniel Stern's pages where he outlines all the proper alignment procedures.

Here's the link to Daniel Sterns' directions on adjusting E-code headlights.

And the lights look good! I'm anxious to see how you like them. :nabble_smiley_good:

Gary, thank you!! That is a well written guide and I will print out the pdf tonight.

I have sylvania H6054 basic sealed halogen lights in my truck so I will try and compare the two out of interest. I may not be able to get 25ft distance to my RV door in a straight line, due a tree! I will measure later.
