Going to call them here in a few. We have one dealer that is an older one that has a lot of older parts and a parts guy that has been then for some time and he is awesome to talk to. Has a ton of knowledge but just not this one part... lol

Was able to actually get a pic of top of device... here it is. Hope it’s still same part number

There are at least half a dozen dealers showing it on D2D. Let me know if you need more phone numbers.

Thank You. I have 3 to call now. Those boys in KY must make too much money... talked to them 2 days now and same story... will look and call back. LOL. Trying Tennessee now then off to Ohio. If I have no luck from them will give you a shout. Thank You!

Thank you for looking. I found one in Houston TX by my daughter so she will pick up for me. It’s from a Ford Dealer so only $234. Those other guys are crazy the prices they are asking. Found one for less but they really don’t have it, that’s why it’s cheaper.. hahahahaha. Thank you again for the help.

Well, E3TZ 9189-C is the wrong valve for your truck. Here's the illustration of the right valve. Correct?

A major change is the way the hoses connect. In the pic below you'll see a hose barb on the E3TZ 9189-C, meaning a rubber hose goes on it. And on the right you'll see the quick disconnect type fitting that I think your truck has. I say that because you can see them in the illustration above. And they don't interchange.

So, I think the part number you need is E5TZ 9189-B.

I must be blind as I don’t see my 1986 F250, 460 on the data sheet. Same selector as being discussed?

Yes, I'm guessing that you should have the same selector being discussed: E5TZ 9189-B. I think the key is the type of connectors you have. Do you have rubber line to the valve with hose clamps, or nylon line with quick-disconnect fittings? The -C valve has rubber hoses and the -B valve has quick disconnect fittings.

The valve on the left has the fittings for rubber hoses, so is the -C, and the connection on the right is the type that a -B would have. (The quick-disconnect part is on the left end and the right end has barbs for the nylon line.)

My tank selector issue: the rear tank doesn't register anything, but I've hooked both pumps/sending units up to the front tank and they both register on the fuel gauge. The latest development is that when I flip the switch to the rear tank, the gauge still reads the front tank.

Should I just replace the selector valve, or troubleshoot further? Also, I'm new to parts hunting, but this is the exact part I need (as verified by yall above and by visual inspection) and it is out of stock/discontinued everywhere online. What's next, start calling all the ford dealers until I find one that has it?
