Hello Again,

Been looking though the Documentation an not seeing much about 3 on the tree column anyone have an diagram. So I can look into why I can't get into 2nd gear. If not what would you recommend for an floor shiftier? May need to look into the M5od swap again but want to keep this truck cheap.

Thanks

Oh, and to my knowledge, this is the only floor shifter still in production...

Also, I put a better copy of that illustration on the page at Documentation/Interior/Steering Columns. (Yes, that's where they are. Got a better idea? :nabble_anim_confused:)

No :nabble_head-rotfl-57x22_orig:

Need to get my eyes checked. Seen the auto column and didn't see that one. Thanks

If'n you need to see one up close 'n personal, I have one that's complete except for the shift stick. It all appears to be on good condition. The donor truck had a 4 speed in it when I bought it.

I learned to drive in a 63 Falcon with 3 on the tree, before I got it it was my mother’s daily drive. Then two of my older sisters learned in it. By the time I got it the shift was a hit and miss. It could get hung up in any gear and to get it out, you had to open the hood and move the shift fork to the neutral position. Lots of fun.

Ended up just needing a bushing replaced.

68 Dodge van I learned to drive on and you could reach in thru the front grille to the rods and do the same thing. Before that my parents had 65 Dodge vans they had to do it on so I knew how to do it before I started to drive LOL
