Chris Guthro
Here’s a Side project a fella picked up while being burnt out on the 84 2wd I’ve been building. It started as a North Carolina truck , 2wd 2 barrel 302 aod. So I ripped out the front I beams and put in a Dana 44 housing with a 3:73 Dana 50 front pot. Welded. And a semi float 10.5 14 bolt chev rear axle with a set of chromoly Yukon axles. Drilled the 5x5.5 pattern. It’s got a 13.5-1 466 with a set of max portedcj valve d0ve heads, ported victor intake, and a really nasty solid roller with a operati ram he of 5-8200rpm. Which I found out is a lot more maintance then I had wanted haha. It’s got a np435 with a dual disc clutch. And a blow proof bell housing. The truck is going in another phase of a build this summer tho. It’s getting a welded Dana 60 front. And a 11.5 aam all of which I have sandblasted here ready to go in. Also switching from the bw1356 and going to the old np205 to slow it down. I found out that with the 4 speed in second gear it’s geared to slow and can’t get wheel speed. I’m on the fence on someday respraying the truck the sane colors. Which is 1c, and 9v. Which will be the same colors as my little street truck. It’s more so annoying when you lose oil pressure and find the roller lifter laying in the valley, and the connector bar laying in the bottom of the pan haha. Clean it out shove some new parts in it and let her eat! Haha
Chris Guthro
Got the Dana 60 and the 11.5aam back from the sandblaster, and got some paint on it this weekend! Even tho it’s an old pull truck don’t mean you can’t make it pretty

Out in the dead heat here this morning trying to put the drive on the pull truck to get the Dana 50/44 hybrid out and start mounting the Dana 60 brackets for the leaf spring
