Seeking Wire Connector Tabs

Recommended Posts

How many do you need? I have a large plastic jar full of parts like that.

I hoard that kind of thing, but don't have any just like that.

Unfortunately those aren't usually a "Ford" part. Instead they are held to the wiring harnesses by tape, and I don't think Ford made the harnesses. They just specified where the retainer needed to be and what size of hole they needed to fit.

These look like the kind the slide into the connector itself (like the dome line connector at the bottom of the B pillar). The ones that get taped directly into the harness can be found online but I haven't seen this kind to purchase outside of a jy.

I have a large assortment of Ford, GM and Chrysler wiring harness and connector retainers. He is seeking NOS or unused ones for a restoration. I sent him pictures of what I have in that style.

Or, harness saddles like these:http://www.springmillsmfg.com/wire-harness-clips.html

I guess not quite like this: https://www.auveco.com/christmas-trees/taurus-sable-roof-liner-moulding-retainer-14758

Although the head and stem size seem correct.

I wonder if one could be carved into what you need?

Hello,

Thanks for your time. Not really the style needed. I tried the wire harness clips, to see if i could modify them... no luck there.

Bill has some of the type I need. We're involved in some tough negotiations right now... lol
