Moulding clips

Excellent question, and one that I thought we had an answer to. But no. When I went to the Documentation/Exterior/Exterior Trim & Moulding page I found that you need retainer "JU". But we don't list the part number for that.

I'm in the process of adding a page with the exterior moulding retainer part numbers, but for now you want # 375480-S102. And this Google search turned up several of them.

Thanks for the info but that part number just gets me the body panel sleeves for the moulding. I am also in need of the stud clips that are on the moulding itself, having no luck finding any part numbers.

I don't know if they could be gotten as a "clip" less the molding?

If it came into a shop back in the day we would go to the draw and look for something we could use.

When I have the time I will go thru my links to see if I have anything saved for things like that but may be a bit.

Thanks Dave, Figured I'd be having to improvise the second I heard a few of them crack but thought maybe I'd get lucky. Don't want to buy a new trim piece just for the clips. I'll fab up some replacements and be more careful next time.

This is all I had saved.

I did make sure that home page showed up, had links saved for ever, but did not go deeper or see if they had anything that would work.

Also if you don't see what you need being you have the picture you may want to reach out to them with picture and what it is for to see if they have something but not listed on line.

Good luck and keep us posted

Thanks, Dave. I had no way to find those clips.

Thanks, Dave. I had no way to find those clips.

Again I don't know if any of the links will have something that will work for him or not?

They are links I had saved as I came across them for clips when needed for my AMC's.

The rocker molding on the Javelin I believe are AMC Javelin only clips.

Think was the same for the molding strips between the roof rack for Gremlins.

Do you have a clips / hard ware page?

Maybe the links can be put there for all to see?

Gary - Section R doesn't exist in my SnapOn EPC.

Illustrated are retainers AR and JU. Do you have a copy of section R in your catalog? This dealership didn't keep any paper catalogs beyond the 1979 model year...

Myrl - Not only do I have Section R in my catalog, we have it on-line: Documentation/Exterior/Exterior Moulding Retainers

Does that help? :nabble_smiley_wink:.
