WHYDTYTT: What Have You Done To Your Truck Today?

Recommended Posts

Look one post above, at ESPY.

There's no chrome between headlamp and turn.

Thinking what Gary said, espy has separate headlight bezels, this one looks one piece.

Edited to say.......Yep, just googled it, E100 for sure one piece, oh well.

Thanks, Bill

Not today but l went to the salvage yard last week and got a seat from a '92 F150 with the flip out arm rest and adjustable headrests, and also a vent window from an '84 for the driver's side and installed them in my truck. The seat springs have been giving up for a while now so this seat makes it feel like i'm sitting in a new truck. Also got the door weather strip seals from the '84 which were in really good shape so installed those as well, and also got a F150 jack handle for five dollars. I got everything for $140.00 and am pleased with everything I got.

Yep real progress and a real big difference. I'm now shopping around for a really good quality seat cover. I would like a custom cover with the saddle blanket material. So far I'm liking the looks of this one https://www.seatcoversunlimited.com/Saddle-Blanket-p-16159.html?gclid=Cj0KCQjwi7yCBhDJARIsAMWFScNdLNjFd1P613w5nnyUjol5lw_GI8pGHpG5fjlYLhF0-4IVaczbdNgaAvI4EALw_wcB or this one in the true timber camo flooded timber pattern https://www.covercraft.com/us/en/product/seatsaver-custom-true-timber-camo-seat-covers.SS-SSTT. Speaking of progress, my wife comes home Friday!:nabble_anim_jump:

Thanks guys, we are both anxiously waiting for Friday to get here.

It seems I'll be ripping out my dashboard this.

Heavy rains yesterday and I could get nothing out of the defroster vents or floor.

But plenty of flow from the dashboard registers.

I have a piece of stainless piano hinge, or a few other small hinges that I can try.

Frank - Today's the day! Hope all goes well. :nabble_anim_claps:

Jim - Sorry to see that. Is the '87 door much the same as the Bullnose? IIRC, I did Big Blue's through the glove box and radio area, with those items removed. Was literally a huge pain, and I had the cuts and scratches to prove it.
