WHYDTYTT: What Have You Done To Your Truck Today?

Recommended Posts

Glad you have power, but you'll have your hands full with the problems of others. No hurry on my part. Take care.

Masonite is a good idea. Full is good as well, and having the intake on the bottom fitting tightly solves several problems. :nabble_smiley_good:

As for the list, on here is fine, but email might be easier as we'll want the pay part between ourselves. Obviously I have you email address, so either is fine.

So, Gary Lewis is getting:

Zf crossmember and braces.

Hydroboost master cylinder and C2 style power steering pump.

Superduty brake pedal.

Air box, snorkel, rubber elbows.

130A 3G alternator and harness.

Upper intake plenum.

Lower intake with injectors, fuel rails, and all sensors.

Distributor, cap, rotor, wires.

MAP sensor, bracket and harness.

Speed control module.

Remote CCD (black) TFI module with heat sink.

All front dress brackets and pulleys for serpentine setup (except AC compressor)

Power distribution box.

Complete underhood harness from the blinkers to the firewall (except ground and pmgr start wiring)

O2 sensor and harness.

All the nuts, bolts, studs, clips, etc removed from the chassis and engine bay.

*the Zf reverse switch harness when I find it*

Bill is getting:

Dashboard complete.

Interior heater box.

Wiper motor.

Engine bay side AC plenum complete, but MAP removed.

Steering wheel and column, w/ support bracket.

Fuel and return lines from rails to filter on frame rail.

AC compressor and condenser.

PMGR harness and ground cables.

All the screws, clips, knobs, retainers, etc from the interior.

I'm getting:

A short block and a PMGR starter.

Someone is getting:

A 460, 4x4 Zf-5 s42 and a driveline parking brake

I'm going to cut a chunk out of the roof before we roll it to sever the frame.

The bumper, grille and headlights may go to Theo the wrecker driver who pulled the engine with me.

He has a forest metallic '95 Flareside with a 5.0 (soon to be 351)

Jim will this be for sale?

Sure!

But I am 45 miles north of Manhattan.

I have no idea how to get it to you other than to bolt it to a pallet.

It would include stick, both shift boots and the straight floor pan unique to Zf's

Stainless steel Rear brake lines

Stainless steel braided brakelines

Small rubber side moldings

Lots of small bits to keep this moving forward...

Wow! What a haul! No to figure out how to use all that. 🤔

Jim - I will email you on the cost. And thanks!

Gsmblue - A little at a time and soon lots of things are done. That doesn’t mean the truck is done as there is always more to do, but soon it becomes dependable and “ours”, and the progress can slow down. 👍

Gary,

I missed FedEx yesterday so after borrowing the boom lift this morning to finish up the tree, I'm now on my way to ship your packages.

I'll text you on the shipping.

Seeing all the parts packaged for shipping reminded me of Radar O'Reilly, on M.A.S.H., when he was shipping a Jeep, one part at a time, back to the farm in Ottumwa, Iowa. Hmmm... does that date me? :nabble_smiley_whistling:
