WHYDTYTT: What Have You Done To Your Truck Today?

Recommended Posts

I thought Deliverance was set in GA? :nabble_anim_blbl:

We've gotten a little better since then. :nabble_smiley_happy:

Gary, wanted to follow up on the temp gauge I installed with the adapter for both the gauge and stock sender.

Got a quick chance today to hit it with the thermometer gun.

Stock gauge was at the “L” in NORMAL. Equus gauge read 190° and the thermostat neck was 192° midway and up to the hose. The base of the neck was 200-203°.

I plan to do some more research when time permits. Seems close so far!

Dane,

Results look pretty good so far!

And the gauge does too. :nabble_smiley_good:

I guess we can put Gary's fretting to rest.

Brass is a lot more thermally conductive than cast iron.

It's nice to have an actual number. Do they sell those in world units?

Thanks for checking. Looks like my fears were groundless. Well done!

You're good people David! :nabble_anim_handshake:

I don't care what Matthew says about you..... :nabble_smiley_wink:

My 80-82 mirrors showed up yesterday. These mirrors really make a difference for me because they date the truck to 1980-1982 (even if it's not) which is necessary to satisfy my OCD since I want the truck to resemble a 1980. The best part is that they have intact glass, which my F150's mirrors did not.

Great pic of the early style mirrors!

I see why you wanted that 'touch', Shaun. :nabble_smiley_cool:

Another layer of the onion...
