WHYDTYTT: What Have You Done To Your Truck Today?

Recommended Posts

Jim - Glad it is working.

As for what I've done to my truck today, I'm just started but I gassed Big Blue up and am checking him over in prep for the 250 mile round trip to Anderson, MO for the FORDification show tomorrow.

Do you have a spread sheet for gas mileage and Jerry cans used? :nabble_anim_blbl:

P.S. Big Blue does look good!

I don't even have a Jerry can in - yet. But I may have as we are going out this evening to see Steve/FoxFord33 and family, so I might take the cans and fill them up as I'd like that reserve - just in case. (And I'm taking the '95 hubs/rotors to Steve as he will turn them for me - but don't tell him as he doesn't know yet. :nabble_smiley_cool:)

As for MPG, it won't take much computation. The 11 MPG figure makes for pretty easy math. :nabble_smiley_sad:

Or, take a look and listen to a genuine Ford manufactured prototype cross flow head, with just a little extra work!

You're registered in Connecticut Alex?

Have you figured out how the rodents got in there?

The rubber boot looks intact.

Might I suggest you remove the input shaft sleeve and clean the rust off the splines before putting it back together.

A step farther would be minimal application of an extreme pressure paste like Honda Moly 60.

This will help keep the disc from getting hung up.

Do you have a needle bearing or a solid bushing?

After having broken two sets of fingers on the slide hammer puller I resorted to tapping two holes into my bushing and using bolts to push it off the crank pocket last time I did a clutch in the driveway.

It was in there!

I believe I have identified the problem with my kick panel vents:

My truck was flooding when I went through the carwash after I first bought it for the same reason. I had to clean out both sides and make sure the rubber boots at the bottom were completely clear. No more flooding though.
