FordFETruck
one quirk with leds. sometimes people forget or don't understand that the filament bulbs are resistors and don't care about direction but leds are diodes. check valves for current. they only work in the correct polarity. very frustrating when new bulbs don't work but pull them and turn 180 degrees. I ran into that with the glove box light however I had to use incandescent with the ash tray as the led's I had didn't fit in the bulb cover/holder. Feels good to be putting some things back together finally. Though, once I get the mechanical done here in a couple of weeks I will need to start figuring out what to do with the body work... Gary Lewis
I didn't want to start a whole new thread just for this... Anyone have a source for this u nut? It is on the fender support for mounting the fender. I can't seem to find them... We are going to need some help on this. Below are the types of those nuts, which is Type 10, and below that the listing of a lot of them from the 1986 Standard & Utility Parts Catalog. If you can confirm the dimensions then we might be able to find them at Auevco with the part number. Which might be N623333.
