As you can see I keep everything bagged and tagged. So I got lucky I was going through a box cleaning off the truck toolbox and look what I found. For comparison to the speed clips I found at Lowe's... Which had a surprising selection. Gonna clean these guys up and give them a coat of Rust-Oleum. Good find! You are getting there. The mounting locations are really thick I had to trim them in order to have a hope of getting the nut clips on. The drivers a pillar one keeps sliding on me so it pops the dash up a hair higher than I would like so I will have to work on that The mounting points all seem to be reenforced with metal. My bezel repairs held except for one. I will pull this all back apart later. For now it will sit as is. I used China marker on the window to mark the locations of the vent nuts. A little extra kill mat in the cab sealed in and screwed in the wire harness in the drivers rocker. Fay sealed and wet installed the hi beam light switch then laid in the carpet so it can start to realax into place. This color is desert tan by acc... Goes well with the saddle and black interior. Sorry to see that the clips don't fit well. Is there any chance they aren't thick enough? You are using aftermarket clips, right? Ok I think I am ready to put the seat in the truck. I'm excited because that means doors next and then I can hook up the fuel lines again and drive it around a bit. Letting it sit outside in the sun will also relax the last of the wrinkles out of the carpet. The hole locations are semi molded into the back of the carpet. Used a soldering iron to cut them out. This melts the edge of the carpet to keep it together. Plunged it in for the threshold. Installed a plastic bezel for the light switch... Completely upside down. I'll flip it at a later date, not going back out today. I bought new seat belts from LMC. They are ok, they only have one bolt instead of two so when you go to torque them in, it tries to rotate. My issue with them is it has a twist built in (see pictures). The L bracket needs to be flipped 180 to get rid of this. Put new door switches in, seem a little different. I heard of using a red hot nail to poke holes thru the carpet for the seat belt & seat bolts so it does not pull the rug apart.
