Not that I think we need Robin Renzetti's level of aerospace precision, but it's nice to know how universal the idea of lapping a flat surface is. I wasnt aware it was a "thing" now. No, I meant that all of them are either making them or gifting each other. The technique has been around since before machine tools. You know Robin's a step beyond when his are made of ruby and an optical flat's interference lines aren't wide enough to measure his surface plate so he creates a Renz-o-meterâ„¢ for repeatability!
