grumpin Posted October 31, 2017 Share Posted October 31, 2017 Good to know the bracket for Styleside is about the same, but as mentioned, find one without a bumper in the salvage yard. In the end, I think I'll just make a bracket. When I do, I'll post a pic. My 1986 (styleside) has a bumper and the mount under the bed, so I would look at all you can till you find one. That parts book one is nice and all but looks nothing like the real deal. I guess I will have to make one from the parts truck left over sheet metal as it did not have a bracket with the step bumper installed. I ended up with what I really wanted, the tag mounted on the left light. I found a light with the metal ( not plastic ) tag bracket bolted to it.
