It's a grey interior.

XLT

Do you need some interior trim?

If the dash is good, I might take you up on the "I'll send you the whole dash" offer. If you go to pull it I will tell you the secret, Ford says to R&R it with the column casting and column attached. I usually pull the column and then the parking brake pedal and remove the I think 4 M6X1.0 8mm head bolts that are vertical on the casting (one over the steering column) then the 4 M10X1.5 bolts that hold the casting to the cab side. There is one hefty brace near the center of the hump, one skinny one on the right side. One M6X1.0 bolt under the right side door post trim. You need to remove the A pillar trim which wraps over the door and then the 4 7mm head screws across the base of the windshield, whole dash will roll back so you can get the temp cables (please save) and vacuum harness loose. Firewall plugs push in from outside. All the other wiring plugs in to the 14401 dash harness.

If Gary doesn't speak for the compressor to go atop the serpentine PS bracket.

I cut the hose going to the radiator because I'm working in a construction lot and did not have my line wrenches (or any backup wrench and didn't want to twist the neck.)

But the compressor is yours if it's not spoken for. And any other bits of the AC you might want as long as I can get them out tomorrow.

Perhaps I shouldn’t convert to serpentine. That’s just one more thing I don’t need to do. So, surely I can find a way to use the hydro boost without using the bracket? And then Bill can use the compressor.

You can use the Hydroboost with any PS pump

You just need a reservoir connection for the extra return from the brakes.

I'll try to get a picture of the back of the C2 reservoir tomorrow.

Bill,

The firewall plugs are already pushed through.

I will put the cluster back in and unbolt as instructed.

It is not mint, but was a weldors truck, so he kept it pretty nice.

So, a little wear, but it was not a fleet truck or been through 10 owners.

And not a southern truck where the dash pad baked in the sun every day.

Jim, I assume Gary is getting the steering column for the shifter, what shape is the steering wheel in, it should be the same style as mine with no air bag.

When you start serious destruction, if you are unbolting the core support, could you stick the hardware in Gary's stuff so he can powder coat them for me. Thanks!

Not sure I need the steering column. All I would want is the shifter, and I’m not sure it can be grafted onto the Bullnose column. And, I’ll have the dash-mounted switch from the ‘90 truck - at least that’s my understanding.

So, if you want the column go for it.
