My '81 F250 has the 4 pin seatbelt buzzer that yells at you until you buckle up or it shuts off after a couple seconds after you leave the keys in the run position. I want to put an 87-96 7 pin doorbell chime inplace of my 4 pin buzzer. Has anyone done this before or can point me in the directions of wiring diagrams so I could maybe juryrig this? I know my seatbelt wires are brown (maybe blue hash?) and black, but the other two wire on the 4 pin connector are red w/ yellow hash and dark green with light green stripe. Here's the EVTM diagram for your '81: That schematic really helps, glad I know what wire is what, but now trying to find what prong does what on the 7 prong chime (I have one out of an 88 and a 96) and seeing if I need to jump prongs together or what comes of it.
