Do you prefer Carpet or Vinyl?

Recommended Posts

I can assure you that 80-90, Bronco, 150, 250, 350, all the same front floor.

Broncos & Supercabs kinda kick up in the back but that shouldn't be a concern.

The vinyl floors I bought were stupid thick and no amount of heat seemed to help them lay flat near the firewall.

So, I got a thinner rubber floor from Mexico, on eBay.

Advantage of Carpet --- easier leak detection --- case in point

I've never had a problem, but perhaps that's because I'm painfully aware of the incongruous?

I'm late to the party, but my 2003 Ranger came with a vinyl floor. I ditched it for carpet, but after about five years, I went out the junkyard and found a factory vinyl floor to put back in it (thankfully I found one because it's unique to 2001-2003 Ranger Edge trucks) and haven't looked back. I'm forever sold on vinyl floors and will put one in all three of my trucks.

I’m just curious, what changed your mind? What do you like about the vinyl?
