essmaker Posted March 18 Share Posted March 18 I am nearly giving up on finding a bed for my 85 (dual tank 6 3/4 styleside). Next best option is to build a flatbed for it. I'm thinking steel frame with wood deck...something that I would make nice. Does anyone have any design plans or pictures of any worth pointing to? ArdWrknTrk Posted March 18 Share Posted March 18 I know Ray Cecil made an all wood flatbed for a pickup that ended up on a farm in Kentucky. There were CAD drawings. If you're considering a steel bed frame with wooden deck, you should probably look at the body builders handbook here on the site.
