4,000 mile 1980 F350 4x4

Recommended Posts

Found an article with a pretty original truck that was for sale last year. I don't really remember seeing this anywhere, so it must have been a pretty low-profile sale. It is very hard to find 1980-1984 F350's in general, let alone 4x4 and with this low of mileage. I'm not sure if this was posted here, but figured I would share in case it hasn't.

$23,100! Wow! But how often do you see on with 4,925 miles? That is a time capsule.

I agree! I usually prefer the higher trim trucks, but I like that this one is bare bones, just the way they used to be in the decades prior.

Same non-equipped as Big Bro was.

No radio.

No a/c.

No powered windows.

No accessories.

Nothing else than bare bone F-350 Brute.

Man, that thing is so bare bones it doesn't even have dual fuel tanks. Not sure if anybody else noticed that.

My autistic eye for the incongruous asks "what's up with clearance lights on this truck?"

Isn't that an XLT thing, or part of some 'lighting group' option?

They were a separate option under the "Protection" option group. They could be had on pretty much everything except Broncos and maybe F100 although I don't see any exclusions listed in the brochure.
