Help ! Fuel Pump

It seems fuel pumps for 4.9 l engines are rated in gallons per hours. Local part houses three different gph. None can tell me which is correct for my truck. Per Haynes it works out to 22.5 gph. I’m told they are 18,25 and 30. So 25 gph ? Am I correct ? Gary ? Anyone ?

I remember going through this a couple years ago. Have a look at the thread linked below...there's a bunch of information in there on the different 300 fuel pumps:

Thanks Rembrant, you gave me alot to digest. I’m a simple man, so Carter 60330 ? The only ID on existing pump is the number 13.

And to think all I did was go to Auto Zone and had them order a pump for my 81 F100 with a 300 six.

It was that easy and it works :nabble_smiley_evil:

For some reason I missed this post. I’m not that trusting, I’ll pack my own parachute.
