  2. We need to extend a big THANK YOU to Scott Ringler / WelderScott... For years, Scott, at his own expense, has not only put on welding demonstrations with teaching opportunities, but has brought with him a large tank of liquid Nitrogen. He has filled numerous tires [cars, trucks and even motor homes] with Nitrogen at no charge to any of the recipients! His machine fills all the vehicle's tires through a manifold to achieve equal pressure unless requested otherwise. He vents the air mixture in the tires down to 4 PSI to keep from breaking the bead loose or damaging the wheel. At that point, the tire is filled with Nitrogen to the desired pressure. Once this is achieved, the process is repeated. He even did this process to my spare! THANK YOU, WelderScott!

  5. I want to thank Scott for providing me with a beautiful motorcycle license plate!
  6. The show is over and Gary and possibly others supplied a significant portion of the needed parts to help in getting this Bullnose back on the road. The parts were loaded and readied for the return trip to Indiana. The communications and efforts provided by the members of this forum are unbelievable when compared to the dialog of some other forums. Gary, I know that I speak for most of the forum members when I say that we know how much you give of yourself [financially and time wise] for others and to that we offer a big THANK YOU! I hope that others remember to do the same.
  7. The hotel accommodations were nice, clean and reasonably priced. The drive to Gary's house or the Truck Show site is less than 5 minutes. Restaurants are plentiful and on the same street within 10 minutes drive. The staff did their job and overall, it was a pleasant experience.
  8. I am bringing some left over vinyl seat material bought from SMS for my 1986. It is red and the material used in the original inserts. There is likely enough to repair 1 or 2 inserts [1 lower and 1 upper?]. You may have it for free. A few more items: * EEC-IV FBC-ISC3 8K MROM [computer] - E5DF-12A650-H2A This was pulled from a 1985 F150 [61K miles; a former city utility dept. vehicle] with auto. transmission and 4.9L engine. * Black plastic valve cover mounted solenoid(s) cover from a 1985 F150 [see above] - E4TF-12B535-AA * Black exterior mirror: E4TZ-17682-D = D/S - in original box w/o screws or gasket. * Black exterior mirror: E5TZ-17682-B = D/S - in original box w/o screws or gasket. It has a vertical dent on the back. * (2) anti rattle springs for door window crank. * (4) protective plastic spacers which are between the window crank and the door panel. - [spoken for; Gary Lewis] * Instrument cluster bezel w/o AC - E0TB-10045C90-A.
  9. Yes, we wish you could have been with us, Heinz! The rain held off until after the show and even held off until everything that needed to be loaded for people's return trips was loaded.
  10. We wish you could have been with us, Jim!
  11. For those who missed it, the dinner was very nice. Gary and his sweet wife, Janey, provided barbeque pork, fried chicken tenders and all the fixings! Janey also provided homemade rolls and her special brownies. Some of the attendees brought their families. The building [part of the church Gary's family attends] has a nice kitchen / food preparation area, clean restroom facilities as well as a basketball court and items the children could play with. If anyone left feeling hungry, it was their own fault, Thank you, Gary and Janey!
  12. Glad that you and your truck are safe! You made the correct decision.
  13. Here is a seat from an 80s Bronco so one can see what the "look" was.
