  2. Dave, they are still out there, I saw them not long ago. For the life of me, can’t remember where, keep looking. CJ
  3. Gary, but that’s an extra word I didn’t have to type. CJ
  4. Gary, with the right material, we could have musical notes. CJ
  5. That's a relief, thank you! Dave, it’s another Ford oddity, you did it correct, but a warning, Do Not move steering unless engine is running, it will burp fluid every where. Ask me how I know. Another Ford oddity. CJ
  6. But what if I don't want to let it down easy, CJ? Gary, you will lose .002 mpg by the door being open 1/8”. Move material off bumpers. I don’t hear as good as I use too, so it’s ok with me. FORD TOUGH ! CJ
  7. Just let it down easy Gary. CJ
  8. They work Jeff but you still get that hollow metal drum sound. That’s ok with me. Also got new F150 emblems and side marker lens on truck. Looking Good! CJ
  9. Yes it has Jim. Wished I could get something at LMC that worked. CJ
  10. Gary, finally, gas door bumpers that work. They are from Bronco Graveyard item #26090, $4.95 pr, 76-79 f150. They fit my 85 f150. CJ
  11. 10/4, Paul, is this the right gasket? CJ
  12. Thanks Mat, my original intent was to clean pan and pickup, torque mains and rods but on a 30 mi trip, I stopped at redlight and oil pressure was at almost 0 psi. Was 20-30 psi while moving. I removed sender and installed mech. Gauge. When cold at low idle it is 30 psi, when hot at idle it was 7-8 psi. That’s why I was looking at doing this. 108K on engine. CJ
  13. Mat is this the one for my 85 4.9L? I know I have to do some work to pan. CJ
  14. Thanks Mat, FelPro list the one piece from 88 up, list only 4 piece for 85. Got anything on a pump? CJ
  15. Has anyone installed one piece oil pan gasket in 85 and earlier 4.9 L, engine code Y? Also which oil pump do you recommend? CJ
