How did you spend your Memorial Day weekend

old55pete
Sad to say, I needed to work on the wife's 07 F150. Rats built a nest in the intake valley under the intake and chewed the wires off of one of the knock(detonation) sensor and the check engine came on. While I was in there I did the 100000 tune up 3000 miles early.

It's been raining all weekend so about all I've done is cleaned up around the house and mowed the lawn.

I put the pool up. Finished the tree house. Cut 5 acres of grass. And started day dreaming about motorcycles again. Somebody stop me.

Battled a tree stump for two days. Great exercise but the tree won in the end. Time to call in the pros.

Dennis, you are doing it wrong. Look up 55 gallon drum tree stump removal on youtube. Thank me later.

I finally got to replace the instrument panel in my F250 with a salvaged panel with tach and trip meter. Was much fun.

Also pulled the carpet out of the back of the Bronco and found the original build sheet.

All in all a good use of the time.
