salans7
Just wanted to remind everybody to be on the lookout for small mammals looking for a warm home, especially in trucks that don't move often. It's that season and usually I don't have any issues with this here in Florida but this year I finally did. Last week I opened up my F350 and found a bunch of chewed up pieces from my seat back foam all over the passenger side floor. I also found some white foam which I later determined to be the foam from one of my a/c box doors. I'm not sure what was foraging in there, but I took a small hammer and banged it all over the floor and a/c box to run it off. I then promptly removed the seat and brought it into my garage for safe keeping. Hopefully that plus the floor repair work I was doing this weekend will be enough of a deterrent to keep it out. I also sprayed some peppermint scents around my a/c box entry points to hopefully keep whatever it was away from the foam.
Gary Lewis
That’s a good reminder. Thanks. And sorry you are having those problems. Hopefully you ran them off and they won’t come back.
