1982 F150 51k mile chassis and 300 6 cylinder

Recommended Posts

I have a rust free frame and 300 6 cylinder from a West Texas low mileage (51k) longbed 1982 F150 2wd available for sale cheap. The frame will not come with a rear axle or steering box but all else is there. It's dusty and dirty but in good shape.

Currently still in the frame is the original engine. It will come with all accessories (carb, alternator, smog pump, power steering pump and AC compressor but no transmission.

I converted my truck to a shortbed 4x4 so this is just sitting in the way inside my shop. No reasonable offer will be refused!

I've also got all externals accessories from 80-81 302, intake, accessories, timing covers, valve covers, distributor ,dura-spark ignition, etc. Those are free for the taking if you come get them.

Pictures and additional details on request.

Located in Norman, OK.

Mike

Sounds like an excellent offering. I don’t need that stuff, but I’ll bet someone will. :nabble_smiley_good:

Btw, glad y’all figured out how to play football. Apparently only one OK team can do it at a time. Wonder which one will know on Nov 19th?

Thanks Gary, looking forward to moving some decent stuff on to someone who needs it more than me!

The last game was definitely a step in the right direction but not enough to call it a trend yet.

Anybody's guess how bedlam will go, just like every year :)

Surely someone needs these gems that have been in my family since new. If no interest I will be taking them across the scales as scrap metal in a couple weeks.

Mike - Is the pivot for the clutch still screwed into the block? That's a hard to find part, so please don't scrap it. I know that Jonathan/F834 may need it. If not I'd like to have it to measure and draw up on CAD so someone could make them on a lathe.

Gary, the truck had a C6, so wouldn’t expect it to be there but I will look to see if one was installed by accident and pull it off if there.
