It seems to be a sure fire easy way to get overdrive, with minimal changes (crossbar moving, adding pedals, but driveshaft should be fine, right? ). I'm however having difficulty in finding one at a reasonable price that doesn't require a core. Most places won't take a C6 as a core. I know in my local junkyard, I watched several 2wd ZF5 SBF pattern transmissions go to the crusher...I figured the demand for them would be pretty low tbh. What do you plan on doing with this truck? I want to be able to drive on the highway lol. I'm in the process of building a truck camper for the truck, which should weigh in at no more than about 900lbs.
