They may be selling it for a grandparent/family member (full service records, garaged most of life) and didn't get or misheard all the facts. Or just a typo I see a lot of 8th trucks being posted with 7th gen years. It definitely would be the first explanation I'd dig for if interested in the truck though. Very nice truck.
