85lebaront2 Posted July 27, 2018 Share Posted July 27, 2018 To my knowledge the only way to tune the EEC-IV is with a piggyback card, such as a TwEECer or Moates unit. It wasn't until the EEC-V that you can re-flash the EEC. On TFI modules, never had real good luck with aftermarket ones. If you are concerned about heat, starting in either 89 or 90, Ford moved the TFI module to the inside of the left fender near where the EEC was moved to in 1987.
