Gary Lewis
That is NOT a "80-86 ford f100 f150 f250 f350 bronco tailgate trim piece". It looks like the 1985/86 F-Series trim piece, not an 80/84 F-Series panel. And I don't think it is a Bronco panel, which is different.

I didn’t look real close the first time but after Gary replied I looked again. It doesn’t look like mine, the reflective part doesn’t look right neither does the Ford font. Maybe later, 87 and on?

LARIAT 85
that looks to be a 92 or later No, that is a 1987 - 1991 Ford F150/F250 XLT Lariat tailgate finish panel. You can tell by the "FORD" script - all of the nameplates from 1987 - 1991 had this same style font. The finish panel changed again slightly in 1992 to blockier "FORD" style lettering and a black reflective panel. The 1985/1986 Bullnose finish panel had the tailgate handle cut out. The 1987 - 1991 and 1992 - 1996/7 did not because the tailgate handle was relocated higher up on the tailgate. The Bronco finish panels all had a keyhole off to the left side.
