Hello everyone, I go by Mac. 65-year-old timer, had several Ford trucks in my lifetime, at least four. And a variety of other brands. I just bought me an old 1984 f150 four-wheel drive. Flat bed. Got to be the ugliest truck I've ever seen in my life somebody tried to paint it with black bed liner. What if it was done right would have been nice. But it wasn't. So my question is has anybody ever taken off bed liner on a pickup? I love this old truck because it has a 300 in it. Going to work just fine on my little farm to haul junk around.

Welcome, Mac! Glad you joined. :nabble_anim_handshake:

But at 65 you aren’t all that old. I’m 74 and there are two on here older than me - by a year or so.

Where’s home? I ask because we have a map (Bullnose Forum/Member’s Map in the menu) and we can add you if we know the city or zip.

As for the truck, I’ve not had to remove bedliner, but I can’t imagine it will be easy. :nabble_smiley_oh:. I would think it would take paint thinner or some such, and whatever paint is under it will be ruined as well.

Good luck! But show us some pics?
