PASO Posted November 20, 2021 Share Posted November 20, 2021 I bought my truck new from the dealer, man that seems like a long time ago. Reading all your posts have renewed my interest in using it more. 10 years ago I installed a Offenhauser 4 barrel manifold with a Carter AFB carb. At the same time I changed the distributor and installed a MSD 4? ignition. Put dual exhaust from front to back using the 92 manifolds to split the exhaust. It has been running without issues all that time only changing the oil has been the only maintenance items. I had to open the hood as the ALT light came on, so looks like i need to change the Alternator. The truck has 234400 Km on it and never been opened up. Hope you'll start a thread in the main section to show us pictures and detail your progress. For instance, if you are changing the alternator will you upgrade to the 3G? And tell us how the intake/exhaust system is working for you. And where's home? I ask because we have a map (Bullnose Forum/Member's Map in the menu) and we can add you with a city or post code.
