The master parts catalog doesn't show anything narrower than 6.0": Driveline/Wheels. Also, it doesn't show any 1980 nor 1981 5 x 4.5's. The first one is in 1982. The first one is in 1982. Weird, the steel wheels for fullsize trucks have been/were 5 1/2" for many, many years. All the one's I have ever seen, that had the 5.5 bolt pattern, were 5 1/2" wide.
