Yes. But if there was a leak that big wouldn't it have all come out by now? :nabble_anim_confused:

Is it possible that there is a difference in pressure [high side/low side] of a system so that when the compressor is energized [jumped] that some Freon which had been "trapped" would be moved to the side which goes to the evaporator?

Maybe. I think I'd jumper the switch with a video camera running. But, don't run the compressor long.
