DDDDDMorgan
I've got an 89 F150 that I need the connector for the.... shoot... I don't know the proper name. The truck is an extra cab, split bench seat up front and the cable with the pressed on ends that connect the lever to the latch is broken on the drivers side. Is that enough description? BTW, the truck is a blue interior so it needs to match! ;-) But seriously folks, I've been scrounging the junkyards to no avail so if anyone knows a source or has one to sell please let me know. Gary Lewis
Is this your seat? Can you tell me which part you need? The illustration shows the basic part number, but with it I can then pull out the whole part number and description.

I haven't hit all the bone yards yet but I haven't found anything with a seat yet. Although I did find a blue interior one with a cloth bench seat for the back that I will probably go and get, nicer than vinyl. I have zero luck looking online. Any ideas Gary? In case you don't know, "617K45" is the basic part number for a "Wire (Front Seat Control) for any Ford vehicle built since the late 60's anywhere in the world. But to get it to a part for your truck you need a prefix and a suffix. In this case the whole part # is D5TZ 13617K45-A. The D5 bit says it was first used in 1975, and the T says it was used on the F-Series trucks. So you can look in the salvage yards for trucks from then until at least 1989. And, you can search the internet for that part number.

DDDDDMorgan
Good finds, David! Finally found one. Only one. Good enough. I'm thinking they're universal? I couldn't find a good driver side only passenger side.
