kramttocs
I agree. Midwest probably uses their kits in their own rebuilds. They have a 12 month warranty on their transmissions. Makes sense. Thanks guys!
kramttocs
Makes sense. Thanks guys! Want to replace the clutch while in there and had planned to have the truck apart by now so I knew which to order but that hasn't happened. Summit shows both as fitting: Luk 07-065 Luk 07-050 From some looking online, seems like it is the 050 with the clips on the throwout. Can anyone confirm or do I need to open it up to be sure? Also any recommendations besides Luk? This is the 80 F350 400 farm use truck.

And I don't have a recommendation other than Luk as that's what I've always gone back with.
