I remember the Ford Performance Parts catalog used to have an after market ignition module made by MSD that was in a DSII housing. It gave a hotter spark than the normal DSII and required the use of a specific magnetic pick up for the distributor which was a factory Ford part, I think it was the one for the brown strain relief ignition module.
