Gary Lewis
Vinny - I think I'm learning a little bit about calibration codes - although not nearly enough. As you can see below, the calibration codes that would appear to be essentially either side of that one, meaning 0-53D-R0 and 0-53G-R0 are for 1980 trucks. And 53E & 53F weren't used - at least for trucks according to the catalog. My catalog runs from 1980 to 1980, so doesn't have info for the 1990 trucks. And the last 302 F150 entry is: (Calibration No, 9-54Z-R10J-8 Cyl. 302 (E.F.I.) C.I.D. (5.0L) 1989 U150 - - AOT-exc. Calif. 1989 F150 - - 4/W/D-A0T-exc. Calif. 1989 F250 - - 4/W/D-AOT-exc. Calif Apparently they started back with "0" for 1990 and picked up at least the "E" if not the "F". Sorry. Perhaps Bill can help you.

When you say "Bill", are your referring to aka "NumberDummy" or "Subford" ? I did go out to the used parts network last night, and this -T2A is a compatible EECM from what I could decipher. But if that is a compatible unit, then problem solved?

F0TF is definitely a 1990 PN, the catch code is the L0U stamped on the label and is the particular program or tune if you prefer loaded into the EEC. Yours is a 5.0L with MT? L0U is listed as Bronco, F-x50, E-x50 5.0L and is SD-Bank / Manual Unfortunately the source of information does not give the year or calibration code. Look on the map, near your VA "home". That's one of the beauties of the map - first names. Anyway, now you see why I suggested posting on here rather than emailing me. There's lots more info available than what I have, and I don't mind the topics going outside our beloved Bullnose trucks. These trucks are what we have in common, but each of us are into many other things, so why limit what can be asked or shared?
