Hi guys,

I have an 86 XLT. Its fully loaded with all the creature comforts available for this year.

While my seats arent shot. They are showing enough wear that i would like to reupholster them.

I had an 84 that had a two tone pattern. My current ride has a solid with a perforated looking pattern.

So, i got to wondering. How many option choices were there for the 80-86?

Was it solid, or two tone velour. And solid vinyl only?

Can anyone recommend the best place to purchase a duplicate factory pattern in the solid velour? Ive seen a few sites, but they claim to not be factory correct. I just happen to like the look of the factory in this case.

Dont know if your intentions are to remain entirely stock with the Bronco, but if you can find a Company that is specialized in car upholstery there might be an option to have anything made to your desire. Those people are real artist when it comes to redo old material. Just have a look what the person did to my Bronco, all in leather. At the same time they can replace the foam and gives you time to spray the frames. Smell like a new car when done.
