nlongo33
It’s all the chemicals. 😂 truck is still in body shop progress is slow, but as long as final result is good it will be worth it, so we had to keep busy so again this truck is going for an early 80's class 8 truck/chase truck and we needed to keep busy we fabbed up a dual tire carrier (designed for 35s or 37s) that will also be home to floor jack as well as 2 5 gallon race cans

But how does it attach to the truck? That's a lot of weight, so I know it'll be attached solidly.

We are going to build and reinforce/box frame and tie it into frame....also it will be mounted so when need be he can “un pin” it and load up his quad realitivly easily. When we get truck back the voices in my head will make more sense. Lol

Rembrant
i will add patina'd gold stripe with vinyl i have at work which is almost an exact match.... all that is left is the hood So how did you paint the fender to match up so well? I have been thinking about this with my project truck. I need to do cab corners and a couple small rust repairs, but I don't want to paint the whole truck. I was wondering how difficult it would be to match up some old two tone painted areas with pin stripes.

Seth has a special camera where he takes “picture” of the paint and it gives him mixture ratios. From there he adjusts it because what we see is always a little off from what camera sees. But it’s pretty close and gets him in ball park. Rest is just air brush and play till it looks right

(But then it is 25F here with a layer of ice.) So it makes sense to wait. Be careful and don't get the trailer messed up!
