Danny G
Riddle me this, helping a friend. His 1992 302 truck has been sitting for over a year. He can get it started but has to give her a squirt of fluid. So gas is probably bad given the length of time. He is concerned the pump may be an issue but after it's going it seems fine. What do you guys recommend? Dump the tank, change the filters and get fresh gas in it and see what happens? Add some stale gas treatment, get her cranked up and run the tank until it's cleaned up and then change every out? Or could there be another issue he needs to spray it to get it to crank? grumpin
My 92 Bronco had a cold start problem when I bought it. Ended up being the coil. The ohms on the secondary side I believe, were out of range, and not by much, but the new coil did the trick.
