1982 silver XLS Bronco (rough)

I wonder how hard it would be for John to replicate those stripes?

I have read that this would be easy for any sign shop or auto graphics shop to replicate, but I have never asked or priced such a job. What I suspect is that they can make you anything you want, but you have to know what that is... i.e., exact measurements, corner radius, etc., that is why Christopher Lott was trying so hard to find a NOS one, even if it was just one side so he would have a template for someone to copy.

The closest thing that I have is a series of clear photographs with a ruler for scale taken by Andrew Seeley of his black flareside. He took these for Bjornulf in Norway who is trying to reproduce the stripes. It will still take some work to draft up a template, but it is a heck of a lot better than working with fuzzy 35 year old brochure images. I will send all of these to you for the XLS web page.
