Gabes86
I agree with Dave. I used something like 36 grit wet-or-dry paper and kept it wet and rinsed often. Otherwise the paper clogged quickly. I stopped on my way home from work to get some paint, I bought a can of dupli color adhesion promoter and when I looked at the charcoal grey and it seemed to dark, so i got medium grey. When I got home I went to the truck and held the can to the dash and it looks to light...guess I'll go back and get the charcoal grey after all. I don't have the door panels prepped yet, and since I didn't know which color grey would match, I started with a kick panel. what I started with, cleaned with dawn soap and hot water I decided to use dupli color products started with a few light coats of adhesion promoter, then a few light coats of medium grey dash is factory grey The other trim pieces are factory grey

Gabes86
Yes, that looks good! Well done! Thanks, one of these days I'll find time to get the the door panels. I've got a wood stove in the garage, so I can keep it warm enough to paint out there.
